Friday 25 August Talk: Creating setting and suspense in thrillers –  How do you create a Page Turner?
Jane will talk about her novels, the importance of creating a vivid settings so that the reader is excited and enthralled to the very end. She will read from her three Novels.
Saturday 26 August: Discussion: Writing Thriller –  Does it matter if readers like your characters?  Or do they just need to believe in them? Readings and discussion, with thoughts and ideas from Jane.
  Jane had written four novels and the first two: The Lie of You and After The Storm are psychological thrillers and the following two: Woman of the Hour and Behind Her Back are contemporary fiction and have the same setting and cast of characters.

Jane lives in Brighton and is a sea-lover, star gazer, film and football fan. She worked as a television producer for fifteen years, had a stint as Deputy Director of the British Film Institute and travelled widely when working for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
