  1. Hello Charroux Organisers

We are a small group of writers and artists living in the village of Treignac, Correze. Last year we organised and ran a very successful poetry retreat with Roger McGough as our lead tutor here in the village. It rant for a week and was attended by a group of 12 professional, semi-professional and amateur writers. An outcome of this is that we have established one of The Poetry Society’s Stanzas, known as The Treignac Poets.

I would love to know more about the Charroux Litfest and would like to visit for all three days in August. It would be great to have a chat with you about the festival and any ways that we might work together?

I look forward to hearing from you,

    Kind regards

    Sheila

  2. Hello Kate,
I was delighted to read the Charroux programme for 2017.. I’m sorry I won’t be able to come to Charroux this time 2017, but perhaps in 2019. I remember the last fest in 2015. I’m going to
Australia in August-September this year to promote my latest collection, my 6th, titled Acres of Light. There are some reviews on my website: http://www.katherine-gallagher.com
I’m sorry the dates clash. I’m delighted to see that a group nearby
have made themselves a Poetry Stanza and that they will be promoting poetry in the area. Congratulations Kate on continuing the Festival. I remember greatly enjoying the Charroux Festival in 2015.
    Very best,
    Katherine ( Gallagher)

    1. Hi Katherine
Thank you for getting in touch. We are sorry you cannot join us this year. Glad you like the programme, and even more pleased you are travelling and publishing; Our next one is in 2019 so we hope you will join us then. Even better, if you would consider hosting a poetry workshop for us later this year or in 2018? much love from us all
