Jacqui Lofthouse will be talking about her novels and will host a writing workshop at the festival. Jacqui is a long-established novelist, writing coach and literary consultant. She has written four novels, The Modigliani Girl (forthcoming in January 2015) Bluethroat Morning, The Temple of Hymen and Een Stille Verdwijning.

Author Isabel Ashdown to be one of the keynote speakers at the Charroux Literary Festival 2015
Isabel Ashdown is the author of four novels: Glasshopper, Hurry Up and Wait, Summer of ’76 – with her fourth novel, Flight, due to be released in May 2015. Isabel’s writing career was first launched when she was announced as winner of the Mail on Sunday Novel Competition in 2008, with judges Fay Weldon, Michael Ridpath and the late Sir John Mortimer describing her work as “magnificent – made every word work and left the reader anxious to read on.” Her debut novel, Glasshopper, was named by the Observer in 2009 as one of the best debuts, and by the London Evening Standard as one of the best books of the year.
